Like we said, our revolutionary, scientifically engineered EcoGranule™ fights odors on four levels. Well here's the in-depth, explanation for those of us that don't happen to be science geniuses.

1. Each EcoGranule™ is covered with a unique mineral coating. This coating causes Odor Lockers® to form solid and firm clumps. That way the waste that produces odor is immediately trapped in an easy to clean up odor prison, so less of the waste escapes to contaminate the rest to your cat box and stink another day. Just flush the clumps down the toilet and be done with it. And, by flushing the waste you're helping the environment. Now don't you feel good about yourself?



2. Within the mineral coating of each EcoGranule™ is a super heavy-duty deodorizer that goes to work fighting odors immediately. It actually recognizes urine and feces (Didn't we meet last year at the Yacht Club?) then attacks and neutralizes the odor.



3. The center of the EcoGranule™, and the most novel, revolutionary thing about it is the hyper-absorbent recycled wood fiber core. We know it's a long name but this is seriously cool stuff, and if you're in the cat litter game it just makes you giddy. This new technology makes our EcoGranules™ more absorbent than our clumping competitors. That means that more odor-causing waste is absorbed and it takes fewer EcoGranules™ to do it so you don't have to change your litter nearly as often.



4. The final odor assassin is a strong antimicrobial agent that is added to the wood core. This agent actually seeks out and destroys the inevitable bacteria that causes lingering odors. We call it Active, On Demand Response, but you can just call it your little odor-fighting buddy. Of course you probably shouldn't call it that in public. That would just be weird.
